Dutch studio AMO, the research and design arm of architecture firm OMA has created Jacquemus interior design boutique inside the luxury department store Selfridges.
The design inspiration is the brand origin: south of France. The studio wanted to create the atmosphere of Provence throughout the materiality. A nude clay texture was applied by hand across the entire store covering walls, ceiling, floor and furnitures creating a natural look.
Curves are part of the concept too. AMO incorporates curving from floor to ceiling, integrating the shelves to display Jacquemus accessories. A minimal but eye-catching visual merchandising.
